To demonstrate some influences of the interior form on the sound
characteristics of didgeridoos we provided the following four animations.
Behind each animation are approx.. 20 single simulationes of different
interior forms (each interior form leads to individual spectra), which we
overlaid flowing.
In the top of graphics the respective interior form (something
tossed) is represented.
The lower part shows the pertinent frequency diagrams (x axis
frequency in Hz) with in each case 3 spectra.
white spectrum: Input impedance spectrum [ acoustic MOhm ], it shows the
situation and playability of the fundamental tone (first white peak) and the
series of overblows (toots). The more highly a peak, the more highly the
back-pressure.
violet/blue spectrum: Sound spectrum when playing the fundamental tone [ Hz
]
green/orange spectrum: Sound spectrum when playing the first overblow [ Hz ]
